- Part of the top 25% of the profession to become certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, and has even re-certified.
- One of two orthodontists in North Carolina to be a part of Damon’s Mentor Program. This allows orthodontists from the Southeast to visit the office and shadow Dr. Bo to learn about state-of-the-art technology and techniques regarding the Damon system.
- Lectures nationally on the Damon system and was recognized with a team of others around the world for a Rising Star Program with Ormco. On the Ormco Insider’s Group Product Development Team where he meets with top clinicians from around the world to discuss product research and development.
Dr. Todd Bovenizer grew up in rural Virginia in a family of pharmacists. While working in his father’s independent family drugstore, he developed a tireless work ethic and a passion for treating customers like family. This mentality has carried over to his professional career, and has been the cornerstone of the practice since its opening in 2006. Dr. Bo is enjoying life with his family. He spends most of his time with his wife, Megan, and their 3 wonderful young girls.
Dr. Bo can often be spotted at the soccer fields in Cary cheering his daughters on. He is also heavily involved in their school, Cary Christian, and his church, Colonial Baptist. When he is not studying up on the latest orthodontic techniques, he can be found working out, drinking smoothies, playing tennis, or traveling to the coast. He is also quite the daredevil, as he loves wakeboarding, snow skiing, and traveling the US.
